Security Sector Reform (SSR) Course-1

SSR-1 Course was successfully conducted from 08 June 2014 to 12 June 2014.

Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commanders’ (PKOCCC)-4 course conducted at BIPSOT from 10 to 21 May 2015.

Gen.      Bangladesh Army with the direct assistance of Office of Defence Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy in Dhaka will organize PKOCCC under GPOI program for the Bangladesh Armed Forces, Bangladesh Police and foreign defence personnel. 15 officers from Bangladesh Army, 02 officers from Bangladesh Navy, 02 officers from Air Force, 01 officer from Bangladesh Police and overseas (As Per GPOI) officers participated in the course. The course conducted at BIPSOT by GPOI SMEs and BIPSOT Instructors from 10 May 2015 to 21 May 2015.



Aim.       The aim of the Peacekeeping Operations Contingent Commanders’ (PKOCC) Course is to prepare potential Commanders in the role and responsibilities of contingent commanders, battalion commanders and sector commanders in complex peacekeeping operations both for UN Operations and other multinational operations.

SPECIAL UNITED NATIONS STAFF OFFICERS’ COURSE (UNSOC) was successfully conducted from 28 Apr 2014 to 03 May 2014.


WPS-2 was successfully conducted by BIPSOT from 03-07 August 2014.

Women, Peace and Security (WPS) - 2
 was successfully conducted by BIPSOT from 03-07 August 2014. 12 officers from Bangladesh Army, 04 from Bangladesh Navy, 02 from Bangladesh Air Force and 02 from Bangladesh Police total 20 officers are likely to join the course.
