Thank you BIPSOT for the amazing hospitality, working environment and logistics support for the smooth conduct of Military Gender Advisor (MGA) course. We remain witness of the professionalism and respect you all extend, irrespective of your rank, branch, or duties. Be it the officers, JCOs, NCOs, or the civilian staffs, the way they carry and present them-selves silently speaks about the standard and training they have. I believe, these standards are not limited at the personal level, but extends beyond, and shine as the indication of overall standard of the professionalism and discipline that the Bangladesh Armed Forces subscribe to. It is an honour to be here and I hope to return to this esteem institution again in future. Once again, THANK YOU ALL for everything, and above all, for being such an amazing host.

The past two weeks at BIPSOT have been a meaningful and memorable experience. I learned a lot about the role of a MGA and how gender perspective can contribute to more effective peacekeeping operations.
I also really enjoyed meeting people from different countries and learning about Bangladeshi culture.
Unfortunately, I can't eat spicy food, so I couldn't fully enjoy the local cuisine. However, the weekend tour was very interesting and gave me a great opportunity to relax, explore new places, and create wonderful memories with my friends.
From bottom of my heart, I'm very grateful for this course, the knowledge I gained, and the friendships I made here.

Dear Sir and distinguished members of BIPSOT,
First and foremost, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to all of you. This is my first time visiting your beautiful country, and I have been deeply moved by the warm welcome, and generous support extended to us throughout our stay. I truly appreciate your hospitality.
Fourteen days is a relatively short time, yet it has been more than enough for participants from diverse backgrounds to experience the genuine warmth of your institution. I am convinced that this course could not have concluded so smoothly without your dedicated assistance. Looking forward, I hope BIPSOT will continue to host many more successful courses. To further enhance the experience for the future participants, I would like to offer a few constructive suggestions regarding accommodation facilities: First, regarding pest control, it would be beneficial to reduce the frequency of spraying insecticide in elevators and to minimize the use of mothballs in large quantities. Second, regarding the room amenities, several rest facilities experienced persistent and strong odors. I hope these small observations contribute positively to the organization of upcoming courses at BIPSOT.
Once again, please accept my deepest appreciation for your support during our time here. Should there have been any inconvenience from our part, we kindly ask for your understanding. Thank you very much.

It is with genuine gratitude that I want to thank the BIPSOT Team.
From the moment of our arrival, your hospitality set the tone for the training. Every logistical detail reflected care and professionalism, allowing us to focus on the training. Beyond the excellence of your hospitality, I was impressed by BIPSOT's deep commitment to the WPS agenda. These two weeks at BIPSOT have been a truly meaningful experience. It was a privilege to work with 24 participants from different nations and to create, together, a safe and welcoming space where we could share experiences, exchange perspectives and enjoy learning from one another.
This course has reinforced a fundamental principle: integrating a gender perspective is ultimately about people. It means seeing those who remain unseen, hearing those who are not heard, and asking who may be missing from our information, reports, decisions, actions and contingency plans.
My sincere gratitude goes to the entire BIPSOT team for making this experience possible throught their excellent organization, facilities and professional support, but above all, through kindness, care and warmth with which we were all welcomed and made to feel at home.
May we all return to our missions, countries and homes even more motivated to be agents of change and ready to put these discussions and lessons into practice wherever we are, ensuring that no one is overlooked and no one is left behind.
With gratitude,
Carla

I have learnt alot from this course how to consider women, men, girls and boys during planning leads to better intelligence, better community trust and mission success. Protection of civilians – how conflict affects people differently men, may face forced recruitment, women / girls may face higher risk of sexual violence. How to design patrols, safe routes and static protection that are safe for everyone.
Conflict related sexual violence prevention – how to recognize early warning signs, report properly and refer survivor to help without causing more harm. Inclusive engagement – how to talk to both male and female community leaders not just men to get full information.
Gender analysis skills – how to collect data broken down by sex and age, and use it to make better decisions. How to turn a gender blind plan into a gender responsive plan. Leadership and policy understanding UN Security Council resolution 1325 on women peace and security, and how to advise commanders so gender is part of all orders not an afterthought.
Lastly am highly motivated to attend training at BIPSOT to enhance my professional skills for UN peace support operations. Training at BIPSOT has equip me to serve UN mission with discipline and humanity and also represent my country (Malawi) with honor in global peacekeeping.
