'Embracing Challenges of Modern Peacekeeping Operations: Opportunities for Asia Pacific Nations' - 2018

A delegation from BIPSOT had attended the event which was held in Seoul, South Korea from 20 until 25 May 2018. BIPSOT's delegation was headed by the The Honourable Commandant, Maj Gen Md Enayet Ullah, BSP, ndu, psc and accompanied by Col Mustafizur Rahman, psc.

This is an annual event involving peacekeeping centres around Asian Pasific countries which is dedicated to train and impart the peacekeeping modules towards military personnel, police and civillian who will be deployed to UN's peacekeeping mission areas around the world. This year summit theme was 'Embracing Challenges of Modern Peacekeeping Operations: Opportunities for Asia Pacific Nations'.

A number of 20 countries had participated in this meeting, which was also attended by special guest Lt Gen Carlos Alberto Dos Santos Cruz (Rtd) from Brazil (former MINUSTAH and MUNOSCO Force Commander).
