Protection of Civilian (POC)-4 (GPOI) Course from 24 to 28 Jan 2016

Bangladesh Army with the direct assistance of Office of Defence Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy in Dhaka organized POC course under GPOI program for the Bangladesh Armed Forces personnel, Bangladesh Police and foreign personnel. 15 x Bangladesh Army, 03 x Bangladesh Navy, 03 x Bangladesh Air Force & 02 x Bangladesh Police and overseas (as per GPOI vac) officers participated in the course. The course conducted at BIPSOT by GPOI and BIPSOT Instructors with effect from 24 January to 28 January 2016.

Protection of Civilian and Child Protection (POC & CP)-2 course from 04 to 15 Oct 2015.

POC & CP-2 Course will be conducted for a duration of 2 weeks with effect from 04 October 2015 to 15 October 2015. 40 officers from home (15 from Bangladesh Army, 3 from Bangladesh Navy, 2 from Bangladesh Air Force, 2 from Bangladesh Police, 10 Civil Participants and 8 officers from abroad are participated in the course.

United Nations Military Observers’ Course (UNMOC)-12 from 26 July through 13 August 2015.

Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) regularly conducts the United Nations Military Observers’ Course (UNMOC) for the potential UNMOs from home and abroad in order to prepare efficient military observers to discharge responsibilities effectually in a UN peacekeeping mission. A team of Subject Matter Expert Instructors with deliberate knowledge and experience in UN assignments are dedicated for conducting the course.

Pre Deployment Training (PDT)-104

Pre Deployment Training (PDT) from 04-05-2014 to 15-05-2014

United Nations Military Observers’ Course (UNMOC)-13 from 14 Feb to 03 Mar 2016

UNMOC-13 conducted for a duration of 3 weeks with effect from 14 February to 03 March 2016. 20 officers from home (12 from Bangladesh Army, 3 from Bangladesh Navy, 3 from Bangladesh Air Force and 2 from Bangladesh Police) and 10 officers from abroad participated in the course. The Bangladeshi officers selected by the Services Headquarters while the overseas officers nominated by respective countries.
