United Nations Civil Military Coordination Officers’ Course (UNCIMIC)-6 from 06-17 Sep 2015.

Bangladesh Army with the direct assistance of Office of Defence Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy in Dhaka organized UNCIMIC under GPOI program for the Bangladesh Armed Forces personnel, Bangladesh Police and foreign personnel. 15 x Bangladesh Army, 02 x Bangladesh Navy, 02 x Bangladesh Air Force & 01 x Bangladesh Police and overseas (as per GPOI vac) officers participated in the course. The course conducted at BIPSOT by GPOI and BIPSOT Instructors with effect from 06 September 2015 to 17 September 2015.

United Nations Staff Officers’ Course (UNSOC)-15 from 13 to 31 Mar 2016

Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) regularly conducts the United Nations Staff Officers’ Course (UNSOC) for the potential Staff Officers from home and abroad in order to prepare efficient staff officers to discharge responsibilities effectually in a UN peacekeeping mission. The UNSOC-15 is scheduled from 13 March to 31 March 2016. A team of Subject Matter Expert Instructors with deliberate knowledge and experience in UN assignments are dedicated for conducting the course.

Train The Trainers’ (T3) Course-7 under GPOI conducted at BIPSOT from 01 March 2015 to 12 March 2015.

Train The Trainers’ (T3) Course-7 under Global Peace Operation Initiative (GPOI) program. The course conducted at BIPSOT by both GPOI instructors and in house instructors from 01 March 2015 to 12 March 2015. Total 20 Bangladeshi officers’ (15 x Bangladesh Army, 2 x Bangladesh Navy, 2 x Bangladesh Air Force, 1 x Bangladesh Police and overseas participants as per GPOI vac) have joined the course.

Conflict Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) Course-1 from 15 May to 19 May 2016

General. Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT) conducted Conflict Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) Course-1 from 15 May to 19 May 2016. Total 33 officers from Bangladesh Armed Forces, Bangladesh Police, and foreign countries and from other (Civil Admin) organization participated the course.

Aim of the Course. To introduce concepts and to promote a better understanding of the Conflict Related Sexual Violence in the Peace Keeping Operation strategy, protection structures and mechanisms  at tactical level.

Basic English Language Course conducted at BIPSOT from 15 Mar 2015 to 23 Mar 2015.

Gen. BIPSOT organized English Language Course in collaboration with British Council, Dhaka wef 15 Mar 2015 to 23 Mar 2015. 

Aim. The aim of this course is to train the participating offrs to impv their proficiency in English Language with a view to facilitating extensive and eff use of the language in their professional life.
