International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Course-1/2015’ from 16-20 August 2015.

General.  ‘Training of Trainers (ToT) on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Course-1/2015’ has been conducting at BIPSOT from 16 August 2015. The course jointly organized by BIPSOT and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Dhaka.

Aim of the Course.   To teach the important aspects of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) focusing at the issues that are related to armed conflicts, Protection of Civilian (POC), internal security and activities that would possibly be encountered during United Nations Peacekeeping Operations (UN PKO).

United Nations Logistics Officers’ Course (UNLOG)-11 under GPOI successfully conducted at BIPSOT from 31 May 2015 to 11 June 2015.

General.    Bangladesh Army with the assistance of Office of Defence Cooperation (ODC), US Embassy in Dhaka organized United Nations Logistics Officers’ Course (UNLOG)-11 under Global Peace Operation Initiative (GPOI) program. The course conducted at BIPSOT by both GPOI instructors and in house instructors from 31 May 2015 to 11 June 2015. Total 20 Bangladeshi officers’ (15 x Bangladesh Army, 2 x Bangladesh Navy, 2 x Bangladesh Air Force,1 x Bangladesh Police) along with overseas participants as per GPOI vacancies joined the course.
